Screen out the noise and Hallmark movies for just a second. Christmas may have over the years been transformed into a behemoth of capitalism, but its essential message has endured and will forever. Hope. Peace. You can relate to those? Even if you deem the story of the baby in the horse stable a mere fairy tale.
