Horror Month 2023

Back for more, invisible audience? Enter if you dare...Horror Month 2023! Serving up the familiar and obscure again for your reading and hopefully viewing pleasure.  They're usually as fun to write about as to watch, and I have no plans of stopping this madness in the foreseeable future.

This year the batch is full of diversity.  Old and new(er) as always.  Agreeable upon classics and schlocky oddities.  The one and only horror pic from Robert Altman.  An unnecessary holiday remake/attempted franchise reboot.  A belated sequel that does everything wrong the original did right.  The beginning of another franchise that had a wink in its eye from the get-go.  A classic of the undead.  An epidemic epic.  Silly creature features.  Vintage horror from Universal Studios.  More high minded horror from the early '60s and a mere five years ago.

Will you need a defibrillator? Eh, maybe for a couple of 'em.......

Yes, but don't neglect that pumpkin spice latte waiting for you next to that stack of Friday the 13th Blu-rays.
